Ingredients:
5 lbs. chicken wings
4 cups canola oil
2 Tbsp. fish sauce
2 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. water
1 small shallot, finely minced (or substitute ¼ minced red onion)
1 Tbsp. garlic
½ cup finely chopped green onions
Sweet chili sauce for dipping (www.makedinner.net prefers Mae Ploy brand)
Make Dinner:
Mix fish sauce, sugar and water in a small mixing bowl until sugar dissolves. Add shallot, garlic and green onions. Set sauce aside. Heat canola oil in large frying pan or wok on high heat. When oil is hot, add chicken wings. Fry wings until crisp and light brown, about 10 minutes. Stir periodically using metal tongs. When cooked through, remove wings a few at a time and place into sauce. Stir wings in sauce for three seconds. Place on paper towel to drain. Serve with sweet chili sauce. Garnish with fresh strawberries, cherries and fresh cucumber strips doused with Mrs. Dash Chicken Grilling Blend, Salt Free seasoning.
