2 medium onions, sliced
3 jalapeno peppers, sliced and seeds removed (The seeds make them spicy so you decide.)
1 pound Bratwurst sausage
2 12-ounce beers (Chef's choice ~ pick one you like so you can enjoy one while you cook!)
Heat 12 ounces of beer in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add onions and jalapeno peppers. Saute vegetables in beer until alcohol has cooked away, about 10 minutes. Add second 12 ounces of beer to pan. Add bratwurst. Continue to cook over medium high heat another 15-20 minutes until liquid has completely cooked away and sausages are golden brown. Serve bratwurst smothered in onions and peppers with an ice cold beer.
