Ingredients:
1 pound bratwurst (6-8 links)
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 cup diced onion
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
3 cups sauerkraut
1 can beer (Choose a favorite.)
2 cups water
Make Dinner:
Heat olive oil in a large dutch oven over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic. Sauté for 3 minutes until onion begins to soften. Add bratwurst and sauté another 8-10 minutes browning sausage on all sides. Add sauerkraut, beer and water. Mix well. Increase heat to medium high and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cover and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer gently for another 35 minutes until liquid is mostly absorbed.
