Ingredients:
5 pounds chicken pieces (Legs, thighs, breasts and wings work well.)
2 cups buttermilk
5 cups flour
2 Tbsp. garlic salt
2 Tbsp. onion powder
1 Tbsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
1 quart canola oil
2 tsp. sea salt
2 tsp. sweet paprika (optional)
2 tsp. dried dill (optional)
Make Dinner:
Combine flour, garlic salt, onion powder, pepper and oregano in a large mixing bowl. Heat oil in a very large skillet over medium high heat. Dredge chicken pieces in buttermilk and then in flour mixture. Fry chicken for 8-10 minutes per side until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt, paprika and dill immediately.
