Ingredients:
2 pounds boneless pork steaks
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups blackberries
1 tsp. sugar
Make Dinner:
Preheat BBQ to medium high. Season pork steaks with salt and pepper. Grill pork 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through. (Chef's Note: Do not overcook or pork will become dry.)
While pork is grilling, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 3 minutes. Add blackberries and sauté another 4-5 minutes until berries begin to break apart. Add wine and sugar. Simmer over medium low heat another 4-5 minutes. Serve wine over grilled pork steaks. Pair with a crisp green salad and steamed rice.
