Ingredients:
6 slices bacon
2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. onion powder
2 Tbsp. garlic salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Make Dinner:
In a small frying pan, fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and set aside to cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder and garlic salt. Use hands to combine all ingredients. Chop cooked bacon into bits and add all but 1/4 cup to the ground beef mixture. Add 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to mixture and combine. Form ground beef into a 'loaf shape' and place on cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Immediately upon removing the meatloaf from the oven, sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of cheese and 1/4 cup bacon bits on top of loaf. Allow cheese to melt. Slice and serve immediately.
