Makes 12 sliders
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 cup crushed pineapple, liquid removed
3/4 cup teriyaki glaze (This is thicker than teriyaki sauce.)
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. salt
1/2 pound provolone cheese, sliced thin (for stronger flavor, Swiss cheese works well)
12 King's Hawaiian Honey Wheat Rolls
Make Dinner:
Place ground beef, 1/2 cup pineapple, 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, garlic and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Use hands to mix ingredients. Create individual burger patties, 2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick. Fry burgers in a hot skillet over medium high heat until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Top burgers with cheese, cover skillet and allow cheese to melt. Serve sliders on King's Hawaiian rolls and top each with remaining teriyaki glaze and crushed pineapple. Approximately 1 tsp. of each per slider is perfect. Serve with a fresh green salad.
